The Board Development Video Series provides information and review on governance, compliance, and programmatic topics. These short-format videos are intended for viewing and follow-up discussion at your district board meetings.
In the February Installment, we preview some features of the newly-revised online Director Handbook that launches in March, along with a reminder on the “Back to Basics” Orientation Workshop regional series in March & April.
The training is designed for all newly-appointed Directors and Associate Directors, and the program includes a condensed overview highlighting crucial information on district form and function, Director roles and responsibilities, legal requirements, partner relationships, and board development.
Networking with refreshments starts at 9am, trainings will run 10am – 1pm and include lunch. All Directors and Associate Directors, as well as district and partner staff, are welcome to attend the regional Orientation Training session. Click below to register.
