Thank you to everyone who has participated in the CliftonStrengths initiatives in 2022 and so far in 2023!
We hope that the CliftonStrengths reports have provided some valuable insight into your talent areas and potential for development, and that the Staff Workshops in February and March helped you gain a better understanding of all the contributions that your strengths help you bring to your personal and professional lives. Click here for a CliftonStrengths domain and frequency report that includes all 240 participating district managers and staff (and a description of each talent theme for reference).
Based on positive feedback and continued interest, the CliftonStrengths for Conservation Districts initiative will be extended through April 2024. Access codes for the CliftonStrengths online assessment and reports will continue to be available to staff at all districts, and participating managers will continue to have access to Gallup portal resources, including the Manager Learning Journey self-guided curriculum and other learning models, articles and advice. CliftonStrengths programming will also continue through the 2023-24 program year, including webinar and in-person opportunities.
A CliftonStrengths Wrap-Up for Managers webinar is scheduled for Wednesday June 14 as part of the Building for Tomorrow Spring Leadership Webinar Series. The webinar is open to all participating district managers and will include a review of manager learning resources available through the Gallup platform.
We’ve also developed new CliftonStrengths workshop designed specifically for single-district teams. It’s based on Gallup’s Strengths-based Team Model and focuses on five areas – Common Purpose, Connection, Communication, Collaboration, and Celebration – to gain insights on team performance and to enhance team effectiveness. The District Team Workshop includes a brief review of concepts from the first workshop, group activities that examine the dynamics identified by the district team strengths grid, frequency, and domain reports, and facilitated discussion to explore how team strengths form the foundation for success in all five of the Strengths-based Team Model areas. The District Team Workshop can be conducted as a morning or afternoon session, scheduling is flexible and open-ended through April 2024.
Contact LD Coordinator Matt Miller for more information on getting the most out of CliftonStrengths or to schedule a workshop for your district team.
